00:00Fifty-five private schools left the Department of Education

00:05in the Senior High School Voucher Program.

00:07This is because of the issue of Umanoy Go Students.

00:11As of now, the DepEd cannot say how much is the total value of the possible loss

00:17due to the Go Students.

00:19But there are billing statements that Umanoy did not pay from their schools

00:24to stop the possible increase of this value.

00:29The Education Secretary, Sunny Angara, will remember

00:33that there are those responsible for the alleged corruption

00:36that was also investigated by the camera.

00:40It started terminating.

00:42We had 22 schools for school year 2021 to 2022.

00:48That's 22 in February 2023.

00:51And we terminated another 32 schools for school year 2022 to 2023.

00:59That's the sum of our findings.

01:03And then for 2023-2024, we already have one terminated.

01:10And then under investigation is another 12.

01:15For school year 2023-2024, around Php 200 million was not released

01:22because there was a discrepancy.

01:24So we cannot say altogether that it was the Go Students

01:28because it might be that they entered the private school

01:33in the first few months.

01:37And then afterwards, they left.
