00:00But, you know, there's so many needs for Cleveland.
00:03They can rule out the possibility of a quarterback as well,
00:06whether that be Shadour or somebody else in that spot.
00:09You know, they're such a quarterback-needy team.
00:11We talked about the Deshaun Watson type of situation,
00:15the swing and miss by Jimmy Haslam.
00:18They do have Kenny Pickett there.
00:20They have a multitude of needs to challenge the likes of Baltimore
00:23and Cincinnati and even the Steelers in the division that, you know,
00:27well, Travis Hunter is just not going to change this organization
00:30from a loser into a winner in one year.
00:33I just don't believe that.
00:35We'll see exactly what they do.
00:36But let's just assume for argument's sake that they do take Travis Hunter
00:41number two overall.
00:43And we talked about this with the New York Giants.
00:46You're staring Abdul Carter in the face, an edge rusher that you can obviously
00:50pair with Thibodeau and that defensive front seven,
00:54or you take Shadour Sanders.
00:56Shadour right now to be the third overall pick, Scott, is four to one.
01:02Travis Hunter is plus 250, assuming he goes second.
01:06Abdul Carter minus 170.
01:08Better pick, Abdul Carter, Shadour Sanders for where the team is right here
01:14and right now, number three for the New York Giants.
01:17Oh, it's a no-brainer.
01:19And it's either the Cleveland Browns or the New York Giants, Joe.
01:22It's Shadour Sanders because they're both in similar spots.
01:26They both have head coaches, maybe not so much Cleveland, but I think Cleveland
01:30as well, dead man walking.
01:32I mean, you've got to get something to regenerate this franchise.
01:35Again, whether it's the Browns or the Giants.
01:38Abdul Carter, Joe Schmo, Travis Hunter, they're not going to, who cares?
01:43Honestly, who cares?
01:44I told you before, Travis Hunter's not playing offense and defense.
01:47He's not.
01:48He's like the antithesis of Otani, right?
01:50You're going to bring him in here, and him and his agent are going to say, well,
01:53you're going to have to pay me twice my money because I'm playing two positions.
01:56Giants are going to say no.
01:57Browns are going to say no.
01:58He's going to pick one.
02:00And now, all of a sudden, all of the fanfare of this guy playing two positions is all
02:03thrown right out the window.
02:04So it's got to be Sanders, Joe.
02:06It just has to be.
02:07I don't even care if they don't like Sanders.
02:10Unless he drops out of the first round completely, and there's stuff behind the scenes we don't
02:15know about.
02:16Maybe the town evaluators say his arm strength really isn't any good.
02:19He's this.
02:19He's that.
02:20So he drops completely out of the first round.
02:22Other than that, the Browns have got to get out of that stench of the Deshaun Watson situation.
02:27They just have them so more than the Giants.
02:30They have got to turn the page on that.
02:32And unless they draft a quarterback, Kenny Pickett is not going to turn the page on Deshaun Watson.
02:37He's still sitting there waiting to start come October, November when he's completely
02:41healthy.
02:42They have got to move on from that.
02:44And the best way to move on from that is Sanders.
02:47And if he turns out to be a bust, Joe, you know what?
02:50So what?
02:50At least you have accomplished moving away from the colossal mistake of Deshaun Watson.
02:55So I don't think he's getting past the Browns.
02:56Or at least I wouldn't.
02:58You know, if I were the Browns, I would draft him.
03:00Who knows?
03:00But if he's there for the Giants, same situation.
03:03You've got to get yourself a quarterback.
03:05You've got to prove that that dopey, meaningless, stupid win against the Indianapolis Colts in
03:10week number 17 of the NFL season, which cost you the first overall pick, won't come back
03:15to bite you that much.
