00:14A, the Browns have made it clear to anyone who's asked, they're not trading him.

00:17Now, what I would tell you is, what the Raiders told me, oh, was it 2018?

00:24They told me there was no way they're trading Khalil Mack, no way, no way, no way.

00:28And then once it became late August of that year, John Gruden changed his mind.

00:32He had personnel control, and Gruden traded him to the Bears.

00:34So I never say never.

00:36The Browns have said they're not going to trade him.

00:39He's a chess piece for them.

00:40They obviously need a quarterback.

00:42And I know Myles Garrett's sick of losing.

00:43He'd like to win.

00:44He's a great player in the twilight of his career, got plenty left, though.

00:47He's on the back nine, but he's still a great football player.

00:50And he'd like to start winning and winning a lot.

00:54If they would change their mind, guys, okay, Joe, if they would change their mind, easily

00:58would get multiple first-round picks.

01:01Plus, you have to redo his deal.

01:03He's going to want to get a new deal.

01:05They could get picks.

01:06They could get players.

01:08Guys like this are game-changers.

01:09Remember when Jared Allen was traded, who, by the way, is a Hall of Fame-type player?

01:16And if he did, if they're willing to take another look at that, let's say at the

01:19owners' meetings in March in Palm Beach, which I'll be at, they would have no shortage

01:23of suitors.

01:24Do you think, Cap, it could impact, then, what they do in the draft, where drafting

01:31currently at second overall, if Myles is gone, it would mean they're so far away.

01:35And then without that superstar, if Abdul Carter's on the board, perhaps it changes

01:40their M.O.?

01:41Well, Kevin, depending on who you're dealing with.

01:45So the thing, the mistake, well, I say it's a mistake.

01:48The writers didn't think so.

01:50So, Kevin, when the Raiders made that trade with the Bears, they thought the Bears were

01:53far away.

01:54They didn't expect the Bears to make the playoffs in 2018.

01:57Who saw that, right?

01:58So if you're the Browns and you change, you're doing 180 and decide you're going to move

02:02them, you want to trade them somewhere where that team is far away from winning.

02:06So think about it.

02:07If you trade them to a team like Washington, right, you're going to be getting a low first-round

02:13pick or multiple low first-round picks.

02:14You don't want that.

02:16By the way, that plays heavily into a decision like this.

02:21That'll be interesting, though, because, I mean, from what we've seen from Miles, he

02:24has no interest in going anywhere other than Washington's probably the low end, I imagine,

02:32Cap, of destinations he would be excited to join.

02:36I'd imagine Philly, Detroit are things on his mind.

02:39It makes, to me, though, Cap, I'll say this, the Niners who pick at 11 interesting because

02:45they're a team that I'm sure Miles would be happy about and maybe have more reasonable

02:49draft compensation for Cleveland.
