Régis Le Bris hails “important” Sunderland win over West Brom

00:00Sutherland head coach Regis Labrice has hailed another important win for his side as they

00:05defeated West Premadeur Albion by one goal to nil at the Hawthorne on Saturday thanks

00:09to a Trahulme goal.

00:12An important win, a second in a row after the international break. It was a tough game

00:18because our opponent today I think played well. Probably the scenario helped us because

00:29I think the first half was okay and we scored with this brilliant goal with Trey and after

00:37that because they needed to win, they pushed, they took risks and we were under pressure.

00:45It was really clear so in possession probably we have to improve our ability to keep the

00:50ball and to show more composure, sure, but at the same time our zoneal defence and our

00:58willingness to play as a unit and to manage the game on the edge of this yellow card. We

01:04are impressive and I think for that last part of the season it's really important to have

01:10this mindset.

01:11And finally Middlesbrough head coach Michael Carrick was happy that his side were able to

01:16continue their recent good form in the Championship as they won 2-0 away at Blackburn Rovers on Friday.

01:22Yeah, that was a good win for us. I think it is an important one, everyone is going to get

01:28that little bit more important and we wanted to carry that little run that we've got going

01:31and we wanted to carry it on and I know there is obviously a little bit going on here and

01:37they have had a bit of a sticky patch and a sticky run but they are a good team, they have

01:41got some good players and they made us work for it. Even with the start of the game I never

01:45thought the game was done. We had to keep doing the right things and the boys managed it, seen it off really well.

01:50A clean sheet and it won a really good goal and it was a fantastic goal, a great move and a hell of a finish by Tommy really.

02:03So yeah, it's one of them, you start where you want to keep that going and we managed to back it up and then naturally,

02:09for credit to them, they didn't let the game fizzle out.
