00:05I am holding a beer, I am standing on a beach in paradise, and this is actually my job.

00:10You can see on the other side there's palm trees, it is unbelievably amazing, but we

00:15are here, I'm here with Dennis Post, Dennis is my travel agent partner, we're going to

00:18talk about mistakes people make when they leave the ship.

00:23Dennis, what is one of the biggest mistakes people make when they leave the ship?

00:28So they don't do their homework on excursions, and they may do something they thought was

00:32fun, but there's things out there that are a lot better, and something unique like, we're

00:37standing right here on Joe's Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands, and the only way to get here

00:42is by charter boat, or they do have a ferry, but it's very hard to do that from where we

00:47are.

00:48A lot of people settle for sort of like the on and off bus tour, or they'll do the touristy

00:53rum factory or something like that, even in sort of basic ports.

00:57I mean, I was in Nassau, and I took my mom and we went on a boat, it was the boat that

01:00later sank, but we went to that private island, and you got like a beach with like 60 people

01:06and 30 of them were snorkeling, so you almost had a beach to yourself.

01:09You really want to do your homework and figure out sort of what the best deal is, and do something

01:13that's local.

01:14Don't do something that's like sort of fake local, like, oh, I'm going to tour the chocolate

01:18store or the place that ends with the novelty t-shirts.

01:21Really find the thing, do your homework, there's all sorts of research out there.

01:24Dennis, any last tips for people when they get off the ship?

01:27Yeah, get yourself a good travel agent, or at least call and consult with one, like us

01:39Amazing.

01:40And try a local beer.

01:41I'm drinking a Korean beer, sort of like a Corona, not the most unique beer, but pretty interesting.
