00:00So yesterday, Trump defended tariffs saying sometimes you have to take medicine to fix

00:06something. How long are Americans prepared to drink this medicine? And if these tariffs don't

00:13go well, we see the stock market and the economy completely sinking. What does this mean for

00:19midterms? Sure. I mean, it's going to be tough. And I think it will take a toll on the down ticket.

00:25There's no question. But the good sign is that you see he's claiming that there's upwards of 50

00:32countries that are actually coming to the negotiation table. So hopefully they're able

00:38to have civil discourse, have professional conversations on how to make sure that things

00:45are done properly, even though this change is going to be massive, not just for us, but for

00:51the entire world, as we're seeing. It's not just us that are concerned about making sure

00:57we can put food on the table, you know, gas in our cars. So that way we can get to our

01:01jobs. You know, it's worldwide at this point. And so I'm hoping that by him having the discussions

01:07with the upwards of 50 countries, it will go in the right direction. But it's not going

01:12to happen overnight, that's for sure. And so a number of people are going to struggle in

01:16the short term, but he's looking at the long term.
