00:18Filipino boxer Melvin Jerusalem is now one step closer to his dream of becoming the undisputed

00:22champion in his division.

00:24After keeping his WBC belt, Jerusalem's team is now in talks for a unification fight against

00:29Oscar Colasso of Puerto Rico, who holds the World Boxing Association and World Boxing

00:34Organization Minimum Weight Championship titles.

00:37The two already fought in 2023, where Jerusalem lost to Colasso by a technical knockout.

00:42In a recent podcast interview, Jerusalem spoke directly to Colasso, showing interest in a

00:47possible rematch.

01:18Aside from Jerusalem, another Filipino is also a champion in the 105-pound division

01:24under the International Boxing Federation or IBF.

01:27According to Jerusalem, it will be exciting if two Filipino fighters could compete for

01:31the undisputed title someday.

01:47If Oscar Colasso's comp under Golden Boy Promotions, led by Oscar De La Hoya, and Melvin

01:52Jerusalem's comp under Sandman Promotions, headed by Jizzy Mananquil and Nobuyuki Matsuda
