00:00After two straight weeks of price hikes, motorists are finally getting a bit of a breather at

00:05the pumps this week, with a modest rollback on fuel prices tomorrow, April 8.

00:11Gasoline prices will decrease by 10 centavos per liter, while kerosene will go down by

00:1550 centavos per liter.

00:17Meanwhile, diesel prices will not see any movement.

00:21This comes after two weeks of consecutive price hikes, which added 2 pesos and 50 centavos

00:27per liter to gasoline and 1 peso and 60 centavos for both diesel and kerosene.

00:32Year-to-date, fuel prices are still up 4.65 pesos per liter for gasoline, 4.45 pesos for

00:40diesel and 90 centavos for kerosene, according to the Department of Energy or DOE.

00:46Keeping the prices in check is among market concerns to include a potential global trade

00:51slowdown, raised U.S. tariffs across the globe, and the cost of refinery maintenance

00:57in China.
