00:00After the Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, issued a show-cause order demanding an explanation

00:05from a passing congressional candidate for allegedly saying degrading words towards solo

00:11parents, the COMELEC once again released two show-cause orders today against two other

00:16candidates.

00:17The COMELEC filed show-cause order against Peter Unabia, a gubernatorial candidate in

00:23Misamis Oriental who uttered disgraceful words against Maranaos and women, and for Batangas

00:29gubernatorial candidate J. Ilagad.

00:32The two candidates have three days to submit their explanations to the poll body.

00:37However, they were already warned the candidates that their statements may be considered an

00:42election offense.
