Good morning, it's amazing to welcome everybody to the new shop from The Wave Project in Newquay.
00:07
So we've had funding from the Good Growth Fund, which is Shared Property Fund, and we've had matched funding from Suez.
00:15
And together with The Wave Project, the three of us, we've invested over the last six months into the shop.
00:21
And today we're opening, so it's our pre-loved wetsuit scheme.
00:24
So what we do is we collect pre-loved wetsuits, we clean them, we process them, and then we sell them in Newquay.
00:30
And that does really three things.
00:32
It raises money for our amazing charity, doing surf therapy, adaptive surfing, and surf club.
00:38
We help more people get into the ocean, which is amazing, of course.
00:42
But also importantly, we're taking a very toxic product, neoprene, out of the waste cycle.
00:46
So from a Suez point of view, who really want to help with reducing waste and recycling,
00:52
from a council point of view, to encourage economic growth.
00:56
And for our charity, it's just an amazing project, so we're really pleased to be able to be opening from today.
01:01
So yeah, wetsuits from £10, £35 for adults who have come to Newquay and buy a pre-loved wetsuit here.
