00:01Now, I want to clear my schedule for this next conversation.

00:05We're talking White Sox catching prospects here, very, very important.

00:09Dolores is a wonderful woman.

00:11You talk about having log jams at certain positions, having players in front of prospects.

00:16The White Sox don't have that problem.

00:18At catcher, they have a prospect.

00:20They actually have a few that could really turn this team around in the next few seasons.

00:24Let's talk.

00:25Yeah.

00:27Corey Lee and Matt Theis are not going to stop Kyle Teal from playing anytime soon.

00:32Let's just put that out there and let's just keep real about it.

00:36Kyle Teal is the piece that came over with Garrett Crochet in that trade.

00:40So far, Kyle Teal off to a pretty good start here in the minor leagues.

00:42He's got two home runs to start the year, nine RBI.

00:45He's a catcher with Pop.

00:48He's I think something you have to show if you're the White Sox.

00:52If we're going to deal Crochet, we've got to show you how good this everyday player

00:55is going to be.

00:57And the minor league track record is really good.

00:58It's a 300 hitter in the minor leagues, a 400 on base guy.

01:00Like I said, he's got power.

01:02He's got hit tool.

01:03He's a good defensive catcher.

01:04He's got everything you want.

01:06So the sooner you get him up here working with the young pitchers, the better.

01:09And he might actually leapfrog these first two by a lot because again, the path is so

01:15much easier.

01:16It's just a matter of do the White Sox want to start that clock?

01:18I think they have to just a little bit for that fan base, show them what we're trying

01:23to do here, what the future is going to be.

01:25They want Robert to get off to a better start that he's gotten off to as well, because that's

01:29another piece you can cash in on and start to turn this organization around to get more

01:32everyday players in there.

01:33But Teal is that first salvo into that space and there's nothing stopping him at this point.

01:39So sometimes young catchers do struggle when they get to the big leagues, though, because

01:42they're too worried about and rightfully so working with the pitchers and their offense

01:45kind of slides a little bit.

01:47But Teal is a really good hitter.

01:48So I'd be looking at Kyle Teal maybe to be the first of all these guys to reach the big

01:52leagues.
