00:05The national market and another important part for exporting to the United States to

00:14sending it to the United States, that avocado doesn't pay any taxes for crossing over the

00:25border and being sold in the United States stores.

00:32So that avocado didn't pay any taxes for being sold in the United States.

00:38What are the taxes on that?

00:41So the United States is going to impose taxes to everyone for receiving merchandise everywhere

00:51for importing.

00:52So if they were imposing tariffs on the avocado, then in the United States, they would have

00:59to cross over the border because it is produced here, but there is a tariff to be sold in

01:09the United States if those tariffs on products of Vietnam, which is a very high percentage

01:18rate.

01:19For example, the Nike store, the Nike brand has 10 manufacturer plants in Vietnam.

01:32So everything that was produced in Vietnam was sent to the United States with any tariffs

01:37to cross the border.

01:38And so they will impose a tariff now of 40%.

01:44So what does Trump wants to achieve with this?

01:48That instead of being manufactured in Vietnam, being manufactured in the United States.

01:55That's what he wants.

01:56And there are different conditions.

01:59And if Mexico would be imposed taxes on everything, it would be very much expensive in the United

02:08States, but it would have been much more expensive in the United States.

02:18And this would have diminished the quantity of avocados sold there.

02:24So he has right, let's listen to economists who will refer to this topic with all clarity

02:33to understand that many Mexican products be on tariffs.

02:43So I would like you to ask, many of us were very uncertain about this, but of course you

02:52will mention the advances on the Mexican plan, but what programs do we have to encourage,

03:06to motivate the Mexican for consuming our national products, our national production?

03:15Because we are just suffering from now, and this will lead us to make drastic decisions.

03:22The Mexican plan is extraordinary, and surely with your improvements, we'll be getting better.

03:30But we have to boost Mexicans to continue making enterprises and producing our own products.

03:41Well, the economy secretariat has initiated, and we will continue with our plan in Mexico,

03:55and we want to strengthen our national market in Mexico, which is already consolidated.

04:02So we will encourage that Mexicans produce and purchase more from the inside.

04:12So how the welfare programs help in this, if all the elderly in Mexico receive $6,000

04:26in two semesters, those $6,000 won't be saved, but they are used for buying things.

04:41So when people buy, there's more market in our country, and that purchase makes us to

04:49produce more and helps the economy.

04:54And what is the help that the salary is higher, and we can buy more things for the welfare

05:02of people.

05:03It is not about consumism, but the welfare.

05:07So if today the minimum wage is higher, then families can acquire more products.

05:16If the majority of those products, of course not all, but a big part of those products

05:24are Mexican products, then there's going to be more production in Mexico, more work opportunities,

05:33more job opportunities.

05:34Of course, we are in an open market, namely the TEMEC, but with other countries too.

05:41And the target of the Mexican plan is to produce more in Mexico for increasing the welfare

05:51of Mexicans, men and women.

05:53Finally, the great goal of the Fourth Transformation, because the Mexican people must live happy

06:02and with welfare.
