00:00I am a storyteller here at Merkitt Tours and this year we're celebrating our 40th anniversary.

00:07We started with History Walks on the Royal Isle on the 1st of July 1985.

00:12And to celebrate that, we're innovating.

00:15We've got new things to add to make it a multi-sensory experience for you.

00:19Not only are you seeing the sights of the old town,

00:23downstairs in the vaults below Southbridge,

00:26you're going to be smelling things as well.

00:28Leather, wood smoke, candle wax.

00:31And hearing things, the noise of the tavern,

00:34hammering of the workshops that were down there as well.

00:38The sickly cry of an infant who was living down there.
