Protesters sprayed blue paint on a Tesla dealership in Berlin on Monday, March 31, in protest of US billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his support for the German far-right party, Alternative for Germany (AfD).
In a press release, the activist group behind the protest, "The New Generation," said it had painted the dealership in blue, AfD's party color, in response to Musk's "destructive political influence" in the United States and in Germany.
The protesters appeared to cooperate peacefully with the large number of police vehicles and officers that were seen arriving at the Tesla store in Berlin's Reinickendorf district.
On March 29, "The New Generation" had staged a protest at a Tesla showroom in central Berlin as part of the international "Tesla Take Down" initiative, which called for a day of protest against Tesla.
