00:00Meanwhile, the Department of Migrant Workers or DMW assured the public that it is closely

00:05monitoring the situation of Filipinos in Thailand and Myanmar following the powerful 7.7 magnitude

00:12earthquake.

00:13According to the DMW, efforts are ongoing to locate four missing Filipinos in Mandalay,

00:18Myanmar in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs or DFA.

00:23The agency is also in contact with the families of affected overseas Filipino workers in the

00:28Philippines as well as with the Labor Attaché in Bangkok, Thailand, and local authorities

00:34in Myanmar.

00:35We are closely coordinating with Sec. Ricky Manalo and Usec Eddevega dito sa Manila and

00:43our embassy in Yangon through our Labor Attaché in Bangkok.

00:48Ang isang minamanmanan natin ngayon kung baka merong OFW o Pilipino na kinakailangan ng

00:55tulong in terms of food and water and shelter.
