00:00The Commission on Elections will start this week on the deployment of automated counting machines in various parts of the country

00:07as part of the preparations for the upcoming HATOL of BAYAN 2025.

00:17It's been more than a month since the vote for the HATOL of BAYAN 2025.

00:22That's why the Commission on Elections will start the deployment of automated counting machines

00:29in various parts of the country.

00:31According to Comelec, on Friday, the ACM will first bring the remote provinces.

00:38First is Moro, Karaga, and of course Batanes.

00:41That's always the first because it's the most remote.

00:44The machines will be sent directly to the Comelec offices.

00:47For now, 47,000 machines are ready to be deployed by Comelec

00:52while 63,000 will pass the Pre-Election Logic Accuracy Test or PRILA.

00:58If Comelec approves, all the machines will be ready to be used for the election.

01:04We will know if the machines are accurate from the start to the end.

01:13We will know if these can be stored properly.

01:17On April 20, Comelec will deploy the balotas and it will be sent directly to the city treasurer.

01:23Comelec assures that there will be no delay and that this is just the right time

01:27before the election on May 12.

01:30At all costs, all balotas and all machines will arrive on or before May 5.

01:37Why? Because the final testing and sealing will start from May 6 onwards.
