Man, 31, Shot Dead After Threatening to Report Drug Pusher

A 31-year-old man was gunned down by riding-in-tandem assailants on the night of March 13 in Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig City.

According to an exclusive report by Emil Sumangil on 24 Oras Monday, authorities arrested the suspects in less than 24 hours.

Police identified the gunman as a known criminal with prior charges, including illegal possession of firearms and explosives, carnapping, and murder.

“Our suspect is the leader of a criminal gang, while the other is one of his members,” said Police Major Loreto Tigno, chief investigator of the Pasig Police.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim had warned the gunman to cease his illegal drug activities or face being reported to the police.
