The Bengaluru police on Thursday (March 27) arrested a 36-year-old software engineer for allegedly killing his wife in their rented house in Doddakammanahalli village. The accused, Rakesh Rajendera Khedekar, was taken into custody from Maharashtra's Pune. As per the initial investigation, Rakesh murdered his wife Gauri Anil Khedekar and stuffed her body inside a suitcase. He then informed the house owner about the murder and fled to Pune. When cops arrived at Rakesh's house, they found the suitcase with Gauri's body. There were stab wounds on her body. Subsequently, his location was traced through his mobile phone and cops arrested him from Pune with help from the Maharashtra police.
