00:03So, if I was to go out of my way and make space for somebody special in my life,

00:08it would have to be somebody that I'm proud of.

00:10And if I can't say with pride that this is mine, then there's no point.

00:14What you think is that one major difference between a relationship today and what it was 20 years ago?

00:20I think the one thing that I see is very different is that women are more vocal about their needs

00:26in relationships today than they were back then, you know.

00:30In those days, there was a shyness, a coyness, a kind of quiet demeanor to women

00:38which was perceived as the correct way to be.

00:41But in today's world, I feel that women have become very open-minded

00:46and they speak openly about what they want from their partners.

00:50I think that's a result of maybe financial independence, maybe emotional independence,

00:57maybe just the fact that women are maybe more confident in their skin today.

01:03Which is not to say maybe that, you know, physical intimacy, for instance,

01:07is something that women want more now than they did back then.

01:10But I think that there is more acceptance to be able to speak about it today than there was back then.

01:16Sarah, attention from people really changes, you know, when you lose all the weight.

01:20And you've been so vocal about it.

01:23Yes.

01:23Like a recent video, I think, that you posted went viral.

01:26And I remember how you...

01:27You remember actually seeing me like that.

01:29Yeah, but I miss that.

01:30You do? Why?

01:31Because now you're not eating pizzas and you're not doing all of that.

01:34Yeah, but I mean...

01:35Now you're just really boring.

01:36But now I can maybe earn enough money to buy the pizza. How about that?

01:40Yeah, fine.

01:41But have you noticed that the male attention has changed towards you?

01:44And do you think that it's, you know, obviously because of you losing weight?

01:48I mean, I think so.

01:50Definitely, people don't look at me as a Nazarbattu anymore.

01:53So I think that's quite a refreshing change.

01:58There's a lot more people hitting on you now.

01:59See, nobody hits on me. And you know this.

02:02I don't know.

02:03I think it's because I'm an intimidating, opinionated person.

02:05But I don't get hit on very often.

02:07I really think so.

02:08But as a person, I've never really derived my confidence from the way that I look.

02:13And I don't think that that is the first five things that come to your mind when you talk to me anyway, you know.

02:18Yeah.

02:19So I don't think that that's ever been it.

02:21But that's not to say that, you know, maybe like more boys like my photos than they would if I was like that fat.

02:27That's definitely the case.

02:29So Sara, personally, when you date someone, like when you're in a relationship with someone, what qualities do you search for?

02:36I think truthfulness.

02:39Like I said...

02:39But that's not the first thing that you look for.

02:41I mean, because you don't know that person.

02:42Humour.

02:43Yeah.

02:43Fun, humour.

02:45Good looks?

02:46Not really.

02:47I'm not one of those.

02:49I'm okay without that.

02:50So you'll date a non-good looking person?

02:51Yeah.

02:52It would probably be better because then they wouldn't be self-obsessed and that's something I can't handle.

02:58But you yet have to date that non-good looking person.

03:00Yeah, I mean he doesn't have to be bad looking, but he doesn't have to be so good looking that that's all we talk about, you know.

03:04Like that's something that one can avoid for sure.

03:07And I think that somebody that's more than good looking or anything, just comfortable in their own skin.

03:12I think that's rare today.

03:14I think people that just own who they are is rare and very, very attractive.

03:19So I think if you can be true to who you are, there's nothing like that.

03:23And what's one thing in a relationship that you'll never compromise on?

03:27I don't know. I think that, you know, in the world one has grown to accept mediocrity in a lot of departments.

03:34But I think that my work and love are two things that I will really try to refrain from going into the mediocre zone.

03:41So I think I wouldn't like to compromise on, I think fidelity, maybe.

03:46That's a big one.

03:47Of course.

03:48I think that's very important.

03:49Yeah, that is, I think that's what I think all women want.

03:52And what I think that, you know, especially if and when I get into a relationship,

03:58I think that it would be, it would have to be with somebody that I can proudly say is mine.

04:04Yeah.

04:04And when I say fidelity, I don't necessarily mean, you know, like, oh, cheating on somebody or anything like that.

04:09But I mean, wholeheartedly being mine, you know, because I'm a very independent girl.

04:15I'm very driven by my work.

04:17I'm very driven by my career.

04:18I have great friends.

04:19I have a solid support system.

04:20I have a good family, touchwood.

04:22So I don't really need very much.

04:25Yeah.

04:25So if I was to go out of my way and make space for somebody special in my life,

04:30it would have to be somebody that I'm proud of.

04:32And if I can't proudly say that it's mine, then there's no point.

04:36So then I don't think I would.
