00:14I actually forgot that whole thing, you know.

00:16Till you get married, you know, people can walk up to you and say things to you a lot

00:20more openly.

00:21So abhi toh meko koi bolta hi nahi hai yaar.

00:22So I hope somebody comes up and gives such compliments to me because it's nice to hear

00:37But do you think with their additions in your life, something changed with the perspective

00:42towards life and choices in films?

00:44Everything, man.

00:45Everything.

00:46I mean, you know, we always end up saying, did your perspective towards films change?

00:49But that's a very small part of my life, right?

00:51I think as a human being, you change.

00:53Your, you know, your priorities change, your headspace changes.

00:57Every day, what you do, where you spend your time, what you focus on, what you think about,

01:00all that changes.

01:01And if all that is going to change, that's obviously going to reflect in the kind of

01:04work that you do or the choices that you make or, you know, understand life and how you

01:08represent it as an actor because, you know, the job that we have making is a representation

01:12of life.

01:13But has Misha understood that her father is an actor?

01:17She's figuring it out.

01:19She still sometimes gets very confused when somebody who we don't know, you know, comes

01:24running and asks for a picture or something, and she always wonders why is that happening,

01:28you know?

01:29So I have to explain it to her slowly.

01:30It's not easy.

01:31But she understands that I go for shooting.

01:35And she used to keep asking me, why do you go for shooting?

01:37So then I explained to her that, you know, how you go to school, that's how Papa goes

01:41for shooting.

01:42So when I drew that parallel for her, she was like, okay, fair enough.

01:44I go there and you go there.

01:45So yeah, she's still very small.

01:46Do you remember your first heartbreak?

01:47How did you deal with it?

01:48It was very bad.

01:49When was it?

01:50School.

01:55I don't know.

01:57It's very personal.

01:59No, I'm not going to say it.

02:00But yeah, it was in school.

02:01I was in my 9th standard.

02:02I really liked this girl.

02:03We had only four girls in our class.

02:04And so there's very limited options of who you can crush on.

02:05And yeah, so I liked this girl and apparently half the class liked her.

02:06And I was not really in her top five or six options even in her mind.

02:07And she probably didn't even know much about me and yeah, you know.

02:25How has your opinion on love changed over the years?

02:27A lot.

02:28A lot.

02:29My opinion on love has changed a lot.

02:30You know, what you want and what you need are not always the same thing.

02:31Yeah.

02:32I think that's the first thing that we all need to understand.

02:33And it comes with time.

02:34Because you want a lot of things which you think are what will be good for you but actually

02:41what's good for you is not always what you're running after.

02:42And it takes time to understand those things.

02:46Because what we're attracted to and what is actually good for us might not necessarily

02:50be the same thing.

02:51Yeah.

02:52So most of the times that's a very complex kind of dynamic to deal with.

02:56Because you want something, you crave it, you run after it, you get it.

03:00Once you get it, then it starts getting complicated.

03:01It becomes difficult to handle.

03:03Then you wonder why you wanted it.

03:04Then you start questioning love, you know.

03:07So it becomes like a difficult kind of...

03:09Yeah.

03:10Okay.

03:11So you have to not do that.

03:12You have to understand that mistakes that happen which are mistakes made on the basis

03:16of our judgment and our understanding of ourselves, love shouldn't be blamed for that.

03:20Because then you end up becoming a very pessimistic, negative person who doesn't believe in the

03:24best thing of life, about life, which is love.

03:27Now that I'm married and I have children, I can very confidently say that love is the

03:33strongest emotion and the most important emotion in life.

03:36So you cannot lose faith in that.
