00:00Search efforts continued on Thursday for four missing U.S. soldiers in Lithuania after their

00:07vehicle was found submerged in water a day earlier. The soldiers went missing on Tuesday

00:13near the border with Belarus during a training exercise. Lithuania's defense minister said

00:19the vehicle was found five meters down, after which enough water was drained out to dig

00:23for it.

00:24Both Lithuanian and U.S. troops joined the effort, which Lithuanian officials described

00:49as a highly complex operation.

00:52As our secretary of defense has said, we will not rest until our troops are found.

00:58You can see that it is technically a very difficult recovery situation. I want to thank

01:05the Lithuanian government, the authorities and all that are out here helping in the recovery.

01:11The Lithuanian defense minister expressed hope operations would proceed smoothly and

01:16said there were positive signs in the ongoing rescue efforts.
