Iran sends telecoms satellite Nahid-2 into orbit on board Russian Soyuz rocket

The Soyuz-2.1b rocket blasted off from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Siberia on Friday morning, carrying the Nahid-2 satellite and 18 other small payloads, according to Iranian state media.
