Covid-19 Patients Forced To Share Beds In Delhi Hospital

Two patients on one bed is a common sight at Delhi’s LNJP hospital as Covid-19 cases pile up.

00:22Initially it was only 54 ICU beds, now we have 300 plus ICU beds.

00:29And if you see the number of admissions, today we have 158 admissions.

00:35In Loknath alone, all sick patients, all severe patients,

00:39all patients who have oxygen less than 92, 91, 160 admissions.

00:57Over the last few days, we are reaching about 2 lakh new cases per day,

01:22Last year also we have not seen such a bad situation.

01:25This time the number is very high and increasing very rapidly, going very fast speed.

01:47It's rising because of two reasons.

01:49One, the virus is mutant variety.

01:54It spreads faster and sometimes it is not even detected by RT-PCR.
