00:17Well, I think it's important to say sort of two things at the outset.

00:20One that in the modern era, this sort of informal communication between political leaders on

00:26social media, different messaging apps, has become fairly frequent.

00:32What is unusual about this episode is the classification level of the information being

00:38shared.

00:39The other thing that's important to say at the outset is that clearly no serious damage

00:44was done to the actual operational success of the military mission against the Houthis.

00:51But having said that, it's clearly a very embarrassing episode, as Mr. Terrell says.

00:57And there could have been potentially a security risk, because what has been shared in this

01:06group, this signal group, is exact timings of attacks, types of aircraft being attacked

01:12several hours in advance of some of those attacks.

01:15And had that leaked to the Houthis, it might have jeopardized the success of the operation

01:20and indeed potentially jeopardized the lives of American pilots and sailors.
