Doctors Still Traumatised After Second Wave

The trauma of the peak of the Covid-19 second wave has still not sunk in properly for many doctors.

00:00Those were really trying times and we used to work for almost 12 to 14 hours at a stretch.

00:23At the same time, you had the uncertainty that whether these young patients or whether

00:42the patients on the ventilator will make it the next day and we used to get sleepless

00:47nights because of that.

01:06The duty precedes that call and that's why we keep on working but that is very satisfying

01:28because no profession in the world is more satisfying than this profession of medicine

01:33and I am very proud about being a doctor.
