Liberty University's students giving back their diplomas

The president of Liberty University's continuing support for President Trump is leading some graduates to give back their diplomas.

00:00President Trump is something that we haven't had in national leadership in a long time.

00:05He's substance over forms.

00:07He doesn't say what's politically correct.

00:30He says what's in his heart, what he believes.

00:33And sometimes that gets him in trouble.

00:34But he does not have a racist bone in his body.

00:37I know him well.

00:44In defending the president's comments, Jerry Falwell Jr. is making himself and it seems

00:50to me the university he represents complicit.

00:53It felt to us like a slap in the face at a different level than what we had previously

00:57been concerned about.

01:02He completely misunderstands my support.

01:05My support for the president is his bold and truthful willingness to call terrorist groups

01:10by their names.

01:12And that's something we haven't seen in presidents in recent years.
