00:30It's like a symbol against the government to express the feeling that we won't be silent

00:51anymore.

00:52We won't be standstill and sit here being threatened by them.

01:22In this protest, it's touching people because people who joined the protest, they really

01:36feel that this protest talks about their concerns.

01:41We're not talking about something really complicated.

01:46It's not something for adults.

01:49It's not like adult political things.

01:51In the history class, we always learn about like in the Uthaya period, there was a great

01:58king.

01:59In Sukhothai, there was a great king.

02:03Something like that is mostly what we learn.

02:06And then in the history books, it's always been like that.

02:10We just learn about king, king, king, king, king.

02:13The majority of the protest, they talk about human rights for the children in the school.

02:21Children, when they go to school, they need to cut the same kind of hair.

02:25There's like the rules about you need to cut your hair pretty short for boys.

02:31Each of the problems came from the structure of the government or something like that,

02:36or the structure of the culture of Thailand.

02:39Also, I would say because of the internet, they learn a lot of things.

02:45Outside of Thailand, they know about there are so many countries that you go to high

02:50school, you don't need a uniform, you just wear whatever you want.

02:53We have a lot of issues that we couldn't talk about it.

02:56It's like if I tell my friend about this interview, I think most of the people are going to wish

03:02me luck first.

03:04You know, we have something called the Section 112, which is like if you defame or insult

03:14the king or the monarchy, you can be sent to jail for like three to 15 years.

03:22If you release this video that you're talking with me, and if they know who I am, and I

03:30can be arrested.

03:31They can say this is the thing that I give the information to foreigners to make the

03:41countries look bad or something like that.

03:44And that is a thing that can be a threat to their national security.

03:50That is one of the reasons why most of the people in my generation, we don't really express

03:57a lot of things by ourselves because of the generation why we grew up like in a different

04:04mindset from the other younger generations.

04:07We have something that we still like afraid in our mind and we don't want to speak about

04:14that clearly.

04:15It's just something that we still like scare like in the bottom of our heart.
