Fashion Week isn't just about models and designer clothes — it's recently become famous for bold and often misguided social statements.

00:33to convey that message, raise awareness, and empower more women and more girls that are

00:42When I was in college I was sexually assaulted and raped by an athlete on campus and a lot

00:57of people were like, why didn't you want to tell?

00:58When I looked in the media and I saw how many women would tell their stories, especially

01:00white women, and nobody would help them.

01:01I thought as a woman of color, nobody would surely help me either.

01:02It's important because what happened to me and to a lot of other girls, they'll see and
