01:25It's not simply a matter of neglect or command failure.

01:55Rather, the use of torture and inhumane treatment was the Bush administration's policy.

02:01They are not entitled to the same constitutional rights as you or I are or other American citizens.

02:34so now and taking a step away to go be with the family is really special.

02:50Ron was also saying that, well, you know, even though they ratified slavery,

02:59they also put the provisions in the Constitution, which allowed us 75 years later to fight against

03:06that and have a massive proclamation. And so, oh, thank you, boss. DeSantis.

03:11So appreciate.

03:20I've taken an oath to the Constitution. I've served in Iraq, prosecuted criminals,

03:26and I'm still in the Navy Reserve. I take my oath seriously. It's time Congress did too.

04:11This whole email saga, how they've handled it, how they lied to the public repeatedly,

04:20how emails were destroyed, that is going to be standard operating procedure

04:25in a Hillary Clinton administration.

04:41The Russia investigation, who started it?

04:44Congressman, that matter is under review by the Intelligence Committee,

04:50and there's nothing that I can talk about publicly regarding the initiation of the investigation.

05:06A few weeks ago, the president tweeted support for me as a candidate for governor of Florida.

05:11So today we're going to be filing the paperwork to begin that.

05:30I'd like to introduce a true leader, a proud veteran, my great friend, a tough, brilliant

05:40cookie. And I'm not going to allow any sanctuary cities in the state of Florida.

05:50The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda.

05:56One of your donors called President Obama the N-word. You denounced his comments,

06:00but you did not return the money.

06:02Now, I'm not calling Mr. DeSantis a racist. I'm simply saying the racists believe he's a racist.

06:10I'd like to thank our president for standing by me when

06:29when it wasn't necessarily the smart thing to do.

06:39Hurricane Michael brought widespread destruction to the communities impacted.

06:47We will stand with you. I will lead efforts to save

06:50our waterway. We will fight toxic blue-green algae.

07:02You got a lot of people in your profession who waxed poetically for weeks and weeks

07:07about how Florida was going to be just like New York. Wait two weeks, Florida's going to be next.

07:12Just like Italy, wait two weeks. Well, hell, we're eight weeks away from that,

07:16and it hasn't happened.

07:17Florida has become the new epicenter, not only in the country, but in the world.

07:21Shame on you. You are an embarrassment. You are an embarrassment.

07:25We're getting record-breaking cases every day, and you are doing nothing.

07:49If a local government tries to defund the police, we at the state can stop that.

07:54We're able to put people in jail if they riot or assault a police officer.

08:04Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other

08:09is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money.

08:24Thank you, the people of Florida, for your faith, your support, and your trust you have placed in me.

08:32Not bad for a kid who started out making $6 an hour.
