Interview Fabrice, a homeless man who finds comfort in his dogs

Fabrice has been living on the streets for 6 years now. But since adopting his 3 dogs, his life has changed.

00:00I am Fabrice, without a permanent home, and I introduce you to my dolls, Kibiki, La Maman, Malakit and Kemal.

00:18I found myself without a permanent home because of my separation. I was homeless, I was the owner, I was on my own.

00:25Then I left with my best friend, so I preferred to leave. I didn't have my dogs yet when I found myself on the street.

00:31It's already complicated with the dogs, so without the dogs it's even more complicated morally.

00:37Because when you are alone without the dogs, how can you say that?

00:44We are already a little rejected, the system rejects us.

00:47Sometimes the people who reject us, we say we have an aggressiveness, but sometimes there is something.

00:51Because people take us from above, they belittle us.

01:05My dogs are my children, they are my family, they are my friends.

01:13There is no one more faithful than my dogs.

01:17It changes our lives because we receive love and we give it back.

01:22And that's super important that humans don't give us, unfortunately.

01:28I say three times more love to give, three times more love to receive.

01:32And it changes a lot the relationship of people.

01:35There are animals, there is communication.

01:38And there is no communication when we are on the street without animals.

01:41I think people are much more generous when we have dogs.

01:43We have to keep the proof.

01:45They just brought croquettes, alone they don't bring sandwiches, nothing at all.

01:58My dogs go first, even if I don't eat, my dogs eat anyway.

02:02Even today, the proof is that I didn't make a lot of love.

02:05It was their priority this morning, I arrived.
