00:31My message to young people is that we need to realize what the older generations have done to us
00:39and keep doing in this very moment and will not stop until something happens.
00:45And we need to hold them accountable for this mess they have created.
01:00What is your message to young people?
01:11I noticed a revolutionary poem.
01:14At the beginning of the protests, it was a short poem.
01:18It says, the bullet does not kill, it kills the silence.
01:21But it is a very long poem.
01:23It is a realistic poem.
01:25It is very emotional.
01:27It describes the revolution in a very precise way.
01:45I do not believe in politics.
01:47I believe in myself and the people.
01:55What is your message to young people?
02:01Information is an extremely powerful tool in the struggle.
02:06And, let's say, at the rallies, the difficulties that I face,
02:14they make me protest further.
02:20That is why I do not feel fear or anything like that.
02:51Missing and murdered indigenous women is an epidemic
02:55that you cannot really ignore when it is happening to your family and your community.
03:00And to me, when I realized that I could use the state track meet
03:04as an opportunity to present this issue, it was something that I knew I needed to do.
03:09Violence against women acts need to be taken seriously
03:14and really understood that this is an epidemic and it is genocide.
03:40I cannot support violence in any way.
03:43I cannot see someone die and say, oh, that's okay.
03:53I wanted to be a powerful and defiant bolero.
03:57It is easier to ignore these things, but we have to talk about it.
04:01If we ignore it, nothing is going to change.
04:04For us, we wanted her to be like she survived this even though he thought he killed her,
04:14but he didn't and she starts recomposing herself little by little until she goes her own way.
