00:00Malacanang clarified that the Philippines has no plans to return to the International Criminal Court.

00:06According to Palace of Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro, this case has not yet been discussed.

00:12Castro also denied that the Marcos administration has no commitment to the ICC.

00:17This is in line with the release of a freeze order on the properties of former President Rodrigo Duterte

00:23which is facing a case of Crimes Against Humanity in the ICC.

00:27Palace of Press Officer Undersecretary Castro denied that the ICC has no jurisdiction in the Philippines

00:32and did not include in their plans the activities of the ICC.

00:37The last time we talked to the President, we asked him personally,

00:41and he only smiled and I will say that there is no discussion about that.

00:46When it comes to the alleged incoming freeze order to be issued by the ICC,

00:53there is no commitment on our part, on the part of the administration,

01:00if we will comply with any order issued by the ICC,

01:06considering that the ICC as of the moment has no jurisdiction over the Philippines.
