00:00Police have launched an investigation after a video of a man being assaulted went viral on social media.

00:08Johor Bahru North OCPD Assistant Commissioner Balveer Singh confirmed the incident,

00:14which was captured in a TikTok video showing an altercation between two motorcyclists.

00:19He said the 29-year-old victim had lodged a police report on Monday afternoon.

00:25Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident took place at 4.40pm on Sunday

00:30at a traffic light junction along Jalan Tampoy and Jalan Persiaran Tanjung.

00:35The dispute escalated when the suspect physically assaulted the victim,

00:39striking him multiple times on the head before fleeing the scene.

00:43Authorities are now investigating the case under Section 323 of the Penal Code for Voluntarily Causing Hurt.
