00:00Good morning to all of you. This is the latest weather update for Monday, March 24, 2025.

00:08At the moment, there is still no LPA or typhoon being monitored inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility,

00:15even though we still expect some parts of our country to experience heavy rainfall,

00:19particularly in the Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

00:23This is due to the effects of Easter Leaves and the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

00:27Some parts of the Southern Luzon and mostly here in the Western portions of Visayas

00:32will still experience heavy rainfall due to the effects of Easter Leaves.

00:36And if we can see the possible effects of this rainfall here in some parts of Mindanao,

00:42that is the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ.

00:45And because of that, we will still experience heavy rainfall mostly here in the Western and Southern portions of Mindanao today.

00:53Meanwhile, here in most parts of the Luzon, the weather is clear today.

00:59If there is rain, it is just an indication of heavy rainfall due to the effects of Northeast Monsoon

01:06in some parts of the Northern Luzon.

01:09And for the rest of Luzon, isolated thunderstorms are still possible.

01:15And in the coming days, this cold that is currently affecting some parts of the Northern Luzon,

01:21the Easter Leaves will slowly weaken and deteriorate again in most parts of our country.

01:27And because of the Easter Leaves, we expect in the coming weeks, this Sunday,

01:32the weather will be hot in most parts of our province.

01:37So, there will be weather conditions here in the Luzon today

01:40because of the effects of the Easter Leaves,

01:42the rainfall in some parts of the Bicol Region and also here in Romblon will still be experienced.

01:48Meanwhile, in most parts of the Luzon, generally fair weather conditions will continue.

01:54If there is rain, it is just an indication of heavy rainfall here in the Northern Luzon.

01:59And for the rest of Luzon, isolated thunderstorms are still possible, especially in the afternoon or evening.

02:07As for the temperature forecast for the neighboring cities here in the Luzon,

02:10here in the Luzon, it will be around 22 to 32 degrees Celsius,

02:1522 to 31 in Tuguegarao and 14 to 24 degrees Celsius for Baguio City.

02:21Meanwhile, here in Tagaytay and Legazpi, the maximum temperature will reach 31 degrees Celsius

02:27and the temperature in Metro Manila will be around 23 to 33 degrees Celsius today.

02:34There will be weather conditions for the rest of the country for Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao

02:40because of the effects of the Easter Leaves,

02:42it is still possible to experience rainfalls here in Palawan,

02:46as well as in Western Visayas and Summer Provinces.

02:49Meanwhile, in Mindanao, the Intertropical Convergence Zone is still in effect.

02:54In Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro or BARMM,

03:00as well as in Soksargen and Davao Region,

03:02the weather will still be rainy because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ.

03:08For the rest of Visayas and Mindanao, generally, we have fair weather.

03:12If there is rain, it is due to isolated thunderstorms

03:16that are more often experienced in the afternoon or evening.

03:22As for the temperature forecast for the neighboring cities here in Palawan,

03:26for Kalayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa,

03:29the maximum temperature will reach 31 degrees Celsius.

03:32For Visayas and Iloilo, it will also reach 31 degrees Celsius

03:36and the maximum temperature here in Cebu and Tacloban will reach 32 degrees Celsius.

03:43For Mindanao, Zamboanga and Metro Davao,

03:46the maximum temperature will reach 32 degrees Celsius

03:49and for Cagayan de Oro, the maximum temperature will reach 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

03:57As for the situation of our ocean,

03:59we do not have a gale warning or warning for high waves
