Many people said I’m too old and that I’m not fast enough. I fought through the whole Season and it wasn’t always easy. Sometimes good but also really bad. But today for my home crowd I gave everything and luckily I’m on the podium after some years. Interviewer: Can we say now that the Comeback was a success. Lindsey: Yeah I’m really proud of what I achieved with 40 Years and a partial knee replacement. Nobody believed that I can make that but I believed it. No matter what happens next Season I think I can ski faster. But no matter what happens I’m really proud of myself. I always believed in myself and I have to thank Red Bull, my team and everyone who helped me. Interviewer: Is this 2nd Place like some other wins or medals you made? Lindsey: Yeah the emotions are really high. It’s like when I won after my 2nd ACL injury. This fight is from my heart. I love skiing but the fight was not easy. I’ll enjoy this time today. Interviewer: It was your last race on American snow because there will be no races next Season in the USA. Lindsey: Yeah that’s true. I thought that Macuga already got DNF so I have to give everything so the crowd has some to cheer for. I gave everything and it makes me really happy.
