Hundreds turned out to waddle off Penguin's 150th birthday celebrations.

00:27We've waited a long time for this particular day

00:29to happen, 150 years of excellence

00:33and 150 years of the greatest place on earth.

00:37There's no doubt about that.

00:49I was born and bred in Penguin

00:51and I was here for the first half of the 150 years.

00:55But yes, it's certainly a great day to celebrate.

00:58A great occasion, a great town, great people

01:01and we know how to celebrate here at Penguin

01:04and the Sesquicentenary is a very special day

01:08in the days and in the eyes of our local public

01:12and we welcome everybody aboard.

01:14Very warm at the moment, but yes, it's fabulous.

01:28Having grown up in Penguin, it's wonderful to come back

01:31and just see all the activities and the community coming together.

01:36It's a fantastic community.
