Great grandad brandishes pistol

Police say he was found with a magazine containing two bullets in his pocket, while the gun was still in the car.

00:11Gramps here got mad after his great-granddaughter removed his wife's ashes from the mantelpiece,

00:16so he went to confront her down the pub.

00:18Things escalated and the great-grandpa pulled a gun and his grandson brandished a bat.

00:24And armed cops wasted no time in tracking him down.

00:27When he got up to him in a nearby industrial estate, they found a gun, a magazine full

00:32of blanks, a pickaxe handle and two tasers.

00:36The man ultimately pleaded guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court to possessing a firearm, having

00:41ammunition without a licence and two counts of possessing the taser.

00:45He claimed the gun was for protection.

00:47After he had £200,000 stolen in a robbery, he was jailed for five years in February 2025.
