Cartoon dog Snoopy dons Chanel and Balenciaga for 75th birthday  More than 50 cartoon dog Snoopy plushies wearing designer clothes, from Chanel to Hermes and Balenciaga, are on display in Paris on March 20, 2025 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the 'Peanuts' comic strip. In the last 75 years, Snoopy has inspired several clothing collections, including from Gucci and Uniqlo. Some of them are on display at 'The Snoopy in Style' exhibition, which opens on March 22 at the French capital's Hotel du Grand Veneur. The Paris exhibition runs until April 5. 00:55I think that just came about very happily because the plush dog is so cute that once one fashion

01:06designer made a costume for Snoopy, then other fashion designers wanted to join in.

01:14So it was a brilliant start and it just, you can see it's expanded for 40 years.

01:45Well, Snoopy came from my husband's dog when he was very young.

01:50Then he had a dog named Spike, but Spike was a very active, enchanting dog and a favorite of the family.

02:01And that character went into Snoopy.

02:04But Snoopy really developed himself once he stood up and got on top of the doghouse.

02:11And then in his imagination, Snoopy became everything.

02:15He became the flying ace.

02:17He became the World War II pilot.

02:23He became a soldier behind the lines.

02:27He became everything that we think of him.

02:50Well, I think if people come to see this exhibition, this exhibit, and see how, just see how beautiful

03:00and funny and joyful Snoopy can be, I think that might bring joy to their lives.
