00:00had two runs on the tour that were winning runs that came exploding to a

00:06finish or two explosive finishes but Weitan is feeling confident feeling

00:10good and feeling strong the pressure of making the cut is off for the Whistler

00:14Freeride Club alum and he is ready to go this peak performance athlete when he is

00:19on his game well I mean we can apply that to pretty much everyone but when he

00:23is on he is so on and this man feeling confident this morning is Weitan Ho

00:28dropping in to his first trip down the back first trip down if there is a

00:32rider that I've been looking forward to watch it is Weitan such a smooth

00:37stylish rider great technique as you can see just popping over rocks mid turn

00:44right on that downhill ski heading into the closeout with a different direction

00:49super smart little drop down and lining up this massive backflip for Weitan

00:55yes he's got it Weitan Ho with one of the biggest features on the venue and a

01:00massive 360 over all the rocks yes he is not done at all right onto the downhill ski you can hear the crowd is

01:10electric for the Canadian rider and Weitan adding a bonus feature at the

01:17bottom popping a double through the ice fall so a little extra credit there it

01:22wasn't enough to do the huge backflip in the massive 360 Weitan Ho first time

01:28down the back and absolute stamp of authority that was mind-bending stuff

01:34for the young Whistler rider so smooth so confident so creative the way that he

01:40picked every direction off that clip was intentional and really well thought out

01:46well going through some some line options with Weitan you know he was he

01:52was unsure if the closeout to the next huge one was gonna work if you watched

01:57him ski into this like oh you know he's going kind of small he's going off the

02:02side well guess what there was a reason for that he had to hold on to that one a

02:06little bit but then coming into this Hadley lining it up just massive and full

02:15commitment to that speed I love how quick he gets on to the downhill ski

02:20and right into that 360 just perfect sniped that bottom landing so proud so

02:27happy Wow yeah a little maybe bit of a butt

02:33touch there and then as you said Hadley getting onto that ski you watch his

02:37skis just rippling over that chop and then lining this up the classic

02:41trademark Weitan 360 takeoff he and Ben Richards there's no pop they just float

02:47into it so Oscar Manda he's packing up his gear I think he knows what's coming

02:53there as we look at the line tracker he had that little zigzag but I'd say well

02:57worth it to get over there and lob that enormous 360 for Weitan Ho skiing to

03:04his potential now we're waiting for the judges

03:11I guess he doesn't have anyone to chat to there he's just looking at the screen

03:14you can wave to your mom at home Weitan I'm sure Jiying and Tom are

03:19extremely proud as are we all doing it for the Canadian team there here we go
