00:00A fire at Rumah Lapieh, a 30-door longhouse in Ulu-Sebau, Bintulu, left 300 residents

00:10homeless on Thursday. Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department reported that the Bintulu station

00:19was alerted to the blaze at 11.10 am. A total of 37 firefighters were dispatched to the

00:25scene, located 34 kilometers away. However, by the time they arrived, the fire had already

00:31reached its peak. The blaze completely destroyed 27 doors of the longhouse and left a 70-year-old

00:38man struggling to breathe. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment. No other casualties

00:44were reported.
