00:00Day one of the 2022 Arcana Summer Sale started with unraised two-year-olds bred for the flat.

00:09Italian agent Marco Bozzi secured the top prize slot 33 at €220,000 for Prince Saud

00:18They love Medagliadoro. For Saudi it will be ideal and he's a really nice horse. We

00:23were waiting for him here. Me and Renato, we went to see him in Ireland one month ago

00:31and he loved the horse. So we are very happy to get him.

00:34Marco Bozzi led the buyers for the flat segment with a total of seven purchases, including

00:39lot 72, also acquired for Saudi interests at €110,000.

00:44For Isham Abdul Wahed, that is his son, and he will be training now down in Saudi.

00:53The ever-popular Dr Dino sired the top four lots of the store segment. Lot 114 out of

01:01the serial group winner Miss de Chendoux brought the hammer down at €210,000.

01:07So it's a great surprise. He was a very fine horse. I really like him. I always sell very

01:14few horses in that July sale. We try to select them. We'll have a very good support like

01:19always with all the English, Irish and French. They were on the bidders as well. So I would

01:24like to say thanks to all the support.

01:26I bought him for a new French owner in association with my dad and other friends. So I'm very

01:34happy. He's a very good walker. He was bred at home. So I know him for a long time and

01:41I'm really happy. It's a very good horse and the whole family is very nice.

01:47104, another two-year-old by Dr Dino, the first offspring from a full sister to half monarch and

01:54Lord Duménil, sold for €160,000.

01:58A big horse is probably going to take a bit of time, but he really looks like a chaser

02:03in the making. Very good stallion, very good family. François trained many horses from

02:10the family and we know the breeders are very good.

02:14François Nicole will also train lot 145 by Dr Dino out of a full sister to Group 1 winner

02:20Shannon Rock, sold by a leading vendor, Channel Consignment, on behalf of Araduménil for

02:25€120,000.

02:27Well, my job is much easier when you're selling Dr Dino's. And thanks to the Devin family

02:37because for their fidelity and it's great to work with top breeders like them.

02:45Lot 214, a gelding by Authorise, will head to the United Kingdom to be trained by Gold

02:51Cup winning jockey Sam Thomas.

02:53Well, Sam Thomas is my trainer and he works at home and he picked it himself and he thought

03:01it was the nicest horse here and I got a lot of respect for Sam and I bought it for him.
