00:00Nurlan Bizikov has continued to expand his breeding and racing empire since purchasing Montfort et Preaux two years ago.

00:10He has since merged his studs under the Somme Bay banner, and they will take the next step in their expansion by offering their first sales consignment at Arcana's December Breeding Stock Sale this weekend.

00:22Among their consignment are Group 1 fillies Rougier and Speak of the Devil.

00:28Mr. Bizikov bought Harad Montfort et Preaux at the end of 2019 and since has purchased Harad du Mésir, so two big nice farms in France now.

00:39Still obviously owns Esmond Studs in England, so that becomes under the Somme Bay banner.

00:44And we're just about to run a consignment in Deauville for the first time at the Breeding Stock Sale.

00:54It's a very exciting exercise because mainly thanks to the horses we're going to be presenting, including two Group 1 fillies.

01:01Rougier won a Group 1 Pridlopper on Arc Day, and Speak of the Devil was shortly beaten in the French Classics.

01:08So it's a great, great consignment to have the first year.

01:11Rougier, owner Mr. Kamel Cheboub, was a breeder I knew from a long time and we've just renewed relationship lately.

01:20And we're very, very grateful of his support and trust.

01:25And Mr. Shakhtudinov is a client of Harad du Mésir, so when Mr. Bizikov bought the farm, we actually connected and being introduced to each other.

01:36And again, we're very grateful to his support.

01:39Rougier, it's a fantastic opportunity to buy a Group 1 winning filly.

01:43She's only a three-year-old. She's very sound and she can race on.

01:47This opportunity is very rare, so we look forward to it.

01:51Speak of the Devil is a very, very good-looking filly.

01:53She's by top-class sire, Wooten Bassett.

01:56She was beaten very, very short margin in the French Classics.

02:01She's a proper, proper Group 1 filly with a good pedigree, great sire line, very good-looking filly.

02:07So I'm sure there'll be plenty of people wanting to buy her.

02:10We've got also some nice fillies.

02:13Juliana, who's the stakes two-year-old winner, she's by acclamation.

02:16Roman Bam, Frankl's Music, their stakes-placed fillies.

02:22We've got a very good call by Wooten Bassett.

02:24So, you know, plenty of excitement, hopefully, and looking forward to it.

02:28It has been very, very strong in Goffs and Newmarket.

02:31And I kind of have done a very good job, you know, with their catalogue.

02:34There's a lot of very, very talented horses to be getting ready for this sale.

02:39So hopefully, you know, the momentum will carry on.
