00:00The Philippine Coast Guard has a free ride today.

00:03It is still part of the Women's Month celebration.

00:16As part of the Women's Month celebration,

00:19the Philippine Coast Guard, or PCG, has a free ride every Tuesday

00:24for all women starting March 4, March 11,

00:28today, March 18, and March 25 this year.

00:35According to PCG, women are a pillar of society,

00:39strong, loving, and have a great contribution to the development of the country.

00:43For centuries, they have proven their ability to lead,

00:47to show courage, and to pour out unparalleled determination.

00:52Not only in their homes, but in all fields,

00:55such as politics, business, agriculture, education, and many more.

00:59We need to promote equality and give women the opportunity to lead.

01:06As a token of appreciation and greetings from PCG,

01:09all women are invited to take a free ride.

01:13One ride in the morning at 6 a.m.,

01:16and one later in the afternoon at 5 p.m.

01:19Women can ride from PITX to Cubao,

01:23and Cubao back to PITX.

01:25To be included in the free ride,

01:27just go to Gate 10, B5 of PITX.

01:31PCG invites all women to take the free ride

01:36as a recognition of their important role in society.

01:39This is a simple way of expressing support and encouragement to women

01:45who continue to contribute greatly to the development of the country.

01:49In every step that women take,

01:51we know that it will lead to a better tomorrow.

01:54So it is only right that we support them.

01:57They say that women empowerment will surely lead to the betterment.
