00:00Hello and welcome to the latest Business Bulletin on Monday the 17th of March.

00:04First, one in four young people have considered leaving the workforce in the past year.

00:09New data from PwC revealed mental health was the most common factor.

00:13The survey also revealed that 10% of all workers are considering leaving for an extended period.

00:18The survey involved 4,000 employees from 300 companies within the UK.

00:24Also on the employment front, vacancies are increasing in certain sectors of the UK economy.

00:28There are more vacancies in construction, landscape gardening, teaching and maintenance work.

00:33However, the research by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation

00:36showed a fall in demand for veterinary nurses, delivery drivers and train and tram drivers.

00:42The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee meets on Thursday.

00:45They're expected to be cautious and hold interest rates at 4.5%.

00:49Experts are citing the fog of uncertainty created by things like Donald Trump's tariffs.

00:54Inflation in the UK is also rising.

00:57JD Weatherspoon is expected to reveal soaring sales this week.

01:01The London-listed firm, which has around 800 pubs in the UK,

01:05is set to report its half-year results on Friday.

01:08In its last trading update, Weatherspoon forecast a nearly 5% rise in food and drink sales.

01:12It's also expected to get an 11% sales boost from its slot machines and fruit machines.

01:18And finally, some stock market news.

01:20MHA, the provider of audit and assurance, tax, accountancy and advisory services,

01:25has announced its intention to float on the London Stock Exchange's alternative investment

01:29market. They're looking to fundraise up to £125 million.

01:33Also planning to float is Quantum Base, a quantum science company.

01:37They were founded in 2013 as a spin-out from Lancaster University

01:41and are essentially commercialising serious breakthroughs in the field of quantum physics.
