00:22Healthcare firm Alliance Pharma has backed a sweetened £362 million takeover offer by

00:27its largest shareholder, Dbay Advisors. The deal will see shareholders get 64.75 pence

00:33per share, which is more than the original offer, worth 62.5. Investors will vote on

00:39it on Thursday.

00:41The boss of building supplies firm Travis Perkins has stepped down due to ill health.

00:45It comes just six months after he took on the top job. Shares in the FTSE 250 company

00:49fell by 5% after yesterday's announcement.

00:53Boohoo has announced its rebranding as Debenhams Group. The online fashion firm hailed the

00:58turnaround of the department store brand after buying it out of administration three years
