00:05a champion loses three games, not to rub it in your face as an LAFC fan, but let's talk

00:10about Champions Cup.

00:12They win, they move on and they have Tigres in front of them.

00:20Well, first of all, I just, I think this perfectly sums it up.

00:32They weren't the most purposeful shots, but they went in and that's what we need moving

00:37These early games are important for us because we are, as we keep talking about, rebuilding.

00:42We're trying to rebuild a whole new thing from the ashes here.

00:44Our great players are injured.

00:45And so this is a good time for players like Miguel, like Peck as well, who we already

00:50know is great, but Miller and Aude, it's their time to kind of prove themselves.

00:55And yeah, it's going to be a really uphill battle now up against Tigres.

01:02Because they just booted Cincinnati out and this is a great team that is obviously amongst

01:07the top in Liga Amekis.

01:09And so for us to kind of power through that, it's going to be really tough.

01:13But again, it's what we need.

01:14We need that kind of test.

01:15We need that kind of pressure right now.

01:16I think Chiba, these are the type of games that define the Champions Cup.

01:21We have the champion of MLS facing one of the most powerful teams in Liga Amekis.

01:29Look, it's not going to be easy for Tigres, right?

01:32Tigres, even though they have an amazing team and Galaxy is barely getting in there.

01:37Let's not forget that they have Guido Pizarro as a coach.

01:40You know, like they just changed the coach.

01:42And I don't know how I feel about that, but definitely it's going to be a good game.

01:46I'm glad that Galaxy woke up finally.

01:49And it's going to be very interesting.

01:51I think on this one, I don't want to say it, but I think Galaxy is going to make the difference.

01:58If Chiba Mayor is going for Galaxy, the ocean is going to freeze.

02:41The reality is that after what I saw, barely scraping through Columbus, losing right after

02:49a disastrous 5-2 loss to Seattle where the coach, in my opinion, just gave up the game

02:56on the third matchday.

02:58We'll talk about that later because we're going to focus on Champions Cup.

03:03Messi has to come, has to play because otherwise I think LAFC is going to win.

03:11As one of the most passionate LAFC fans, but also an honest analyst, do you think LAFC

03:20is going to advance?

03:21Look, the game is going to be April 1st and I think that LAFC is going to win that match.

03:25It's not going to be easy when we go to Miami.

03:28But I do see an advantage on the coaches.

03:32Cherundolo, the best coach in the MLS in the past seasons, versus Mascherano that is new

03:37in the league.

03:38And even though it's a Conqueror Champions game, I think there's going to be a huge difference

03:43when it comes to the coaches.

03:44So I think that's what's going to make the difference on who's going to advance.

03:48And I think that LAFC is going to struggle, but they're going to advance.

03:51I think Chiba that there's a stark difference in how these teams came to the quarterfinals.

03:58We have LAFC that had to go through Columbus, probably one of the most difficult teams to

04:04beat in MLS, and Miami that had a somewhat easy, although they had to fight really hard

04:11to make it, competition against the top team in Jamaica.

04:15Nick, do you think this is going to take a toll on Miami, just the difference in competition

04:20to come to this point in the tournament?

04:23Yes.

04:24What makes this tournament unique, obviously, is that the travel is just brutal.

04:29Teams might be playing in a high altitude in Mexico City one day, and then you're flying

04:33thousands of miles to the Caribbean to play a squad there, and then you're getting frostbite

04:39on your toes in Canada in the next leg, right?

04:42So that's brutal.

04:44And so it's going to be tough, but playing in LA, that's mild weather.

04:49We're not dealing with anything too crazy.

04:52Mother Nature is at least hopefully going to be kind to the city for a little bit longer,

04:56and it's not going to be their biggest concern.

04:59It's going to be facing a really tough LA squad that's really ready to go.
