00:00The Senate Blue Ribbon Subcommittee has began investigating the collapse of a bridge in Isabela

00:05with initial findings showing problems as early as 2018. The Department of Public Works and

00:10Highways, or DPWH, plans to form a committee to determine the costs. Senator Bongreville

00:16stressed that those responsible should be held accountable. DPWH Undersecretary Eugenio Pippo

00:22confirmed a structural failure was identified, but no suspensions have been made yet. For his part,

00:28Senator Alan Peter Cayetano suggested applying preventive suspensions during the investigation.
