Right, we come to David Chabot, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson.
00:04
Thank you Mr Speaker. The national insurance increase is set to hit high streets in Wales
00:09
hard, with many traders saying that they will be laying off staff as a result. Last week
00:14
the Government announced £100 million worth of funding to be spent on reinvigorating Welsh
00:19
high streets, but no towns in the Swansea, Neath or Amman valleys were included on that
00:26
list. Can the Secretary of State clarify the criteria that was used to select the successful
00:32
towns and whether or not areas like Usta Levera can expect to benefit from future funding?
00:38
Because that's one high street that's certainly worth investing in.
00:40
Can I thank the Honourable Gentleman for his question. The criteria for the announcement
00:46
last week is publicly available and I suggest he has a look at it.
