00:00The government's assistance to the farmers in Iligan City is unparalleled, especially in remote areas.

00:07That is why their harvests and earnings are expected.

00:11Shariff Timhar of Radyo Pilipinas Iligan has the details of the news.

00:18Because of the new equipment provided by the government,

00:21the work of the farmers here in Iligan City is easier.

00:25That is why Jeneir of Barangay Rogongo is very thankful

00:28because for more than two decades, they have been used to traditional farming.

00:33Now that they are used to it, they are used to our programs,

00:37free training, free farm equipment, and free seeds.

00:43That is why our work is easier.

00:46Thank you to the farmers.

00:50We are very thankful for your support.

00:55The Department of Agriculture Region 10 has allocated more than Php 4 million worth of farm equipment

01:02for the agriculture and fisheries sectors in the city.

01:05One hauling truck, two corn shellers, two water pumps, and one hand tractor are included.

01:13The DA will continue to provide support to the LGU programs

01:17so that the harvests and earnings of the farmers will be strengthened.

01:20We are thankful to the city government, especially to the city agriculture,

01:24for your strong support to the farmers.

01:27We will continue to provide support to the plan.

01:30The government will continue, under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

01:36to provide assistance to the farmers in the new Philippines

01:40so that the long-term prosperity of the agriculture sector will be guaranteed.
