Would you let your adult children live at home with you? With house prices going up, would you be open to allowing your adult children and their family continue to live in your home?

00:27Yeah, I wouldn't hesitate to take any of them in.

00:30It's so hard for young people to get on the housing ladder.

00:34Very hard for first-time buyers.

00:36It's almost like coming back round full circle to the old idea,

00:40you know, in the olden times,

00:43of the whole family lived together in a large Edwardian or Victorian house.

00:47Well, it's like an extended household, isn't it?

00:50It's far more prevalent in other cultures

00:52and that's why they've got more expendable income,

00:55because they all live together and split the bills

00:57and there's quite a lot to be said for that model, in my opinion.
